| I have been opening for Jim Breuer at a bunch of college shows lately and he is amazing. His fans are even more amazing, they fringing love him. (I would say f*cking but my mom might read this.) Usually when I open for him, the audience has no idea that I am even on the show and when the student activities rep introduces me, the crowd is so hyped up they don't even listen to the intro, they just start screaming and cheering. So when I trot on out there, half of them think I'm Jim. Then when they realize I'm not, they are confused. It's crazy when you have a following like he does. He's been in movies, has comedy specials, and has been a cast member on SNL so audience members shout out characters he's done and lines from his specials and movies. I don't want to get a big head here, but I've been on Comedy Central and at the last college a lot of audience members were shouting out stuff during my set as well. Stuff like, "Breuer!" and "We want Breuer!" It was sweet. Seriously, the shows have all been great, only once did I have to ream somebody a new one. << return to bonus |
